Cumberland Ridge is a beautiful community located on the shores of Lake Palestine in the piney woods of East Texas. It is a naturally beautiful, serene escape located only seventeen miles from Tyler, with easy interstate access for trips to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
Cumberland Ridge was established in 1972 as a restricted community intended to provide residents a setting complete with dense forest, picturesque shoreline and access to recreation. The subdivision includes a gated marina with a ramp to launch boats, a large park with playground amenities, and two smaller neighborhood parks. Secure community storage is also available for boats, recreational vehicles, and more.
Lake Palestine is a 25,560-acre freshwater lake fed primarily by the Neches River. The recreational lake offers water sports, fishing and sailing. The mild winter climate makes the lake available virtually year-round.
Cumberland Ridge is home to over 250 residents, with room to grow. A variety of architectural styles create an attractive and diverse appearance, unlike so many “cookie-cutter” subdivisions common today. A relaxed vibe and easy-going friendliness characterize a community that ranges from young families to actively retired neighbors!
